Three generations, one passion.
I grew up listening to stories of how our grandfather, the late Mr. Kunhipalu Mankidiyan, set out pursuing his passion for carpentry and came to the capital city in the mid 20th century — with boatloads of wood and men who knew woodwork like their second nature.
He set up a blooming business in Trivandrum, which, under the guidance of my father John Mankidiyan, grew into a reputed studio in Central Kerala — and made many pieces of furniture that are now considered iconic masterpieces of the Kerala design style.
Over the years, we’ve grown into a design atelier, trusted by clients and customers all over India to personalise living and working spaces through furniture, decor and interior design.
